The Power of Volunteers
Sunflower House is blessed to have the generous support of many dedicated volunteers. Our volunteers range from those that join us for special events, like Pumpkin Palooza, or those that work with families in our center.
I recently attended the 2011 Pumpkin Palooza here at Sunflower House. When I arrived I was greeted with a beautiful fall display of pumpkins, mums and the most energetic and enthusiastic volunteers I have ever met. Our core group of volunteers-The Friends of Sunflower House-spent thousands of hours planning and executing this wonderful, fun family event. I was truly amazed and very grateful.
If you have the time and have a heart for children I hope you will visit Sunflower House and learn more about volunteering with us. It takes our entire community to protect our children-as a volunteer for Sunflower House, you can be part of this lifeline for our youngest citizens.
