Dear Future Volunteer, Thank you for your interest in Sunflower House, a child abuse prevention center serving Johnson and Wyandotte Counties. As you may know, our mission is to protect children in our community from physical and sexual abuse through education, advocacy, forensic and medical services. In order to fulfill this mission, Sunflower House offers a wide variety of programs and services to the community. Volunteers play an integral role in promoting our cause and accomplishing our mission. If you are looking for a group that does a wide variety of activities, both social and volunteer, then our Friends of Sunflower House group may be right for you! We also have opportunities for dedicated and talented volunteers in our education program and to assist the children and families we serve.
